In my development of the idea of Peace as the relating that happens between two parties or forces of nature, I chose to depict the lovely relationship between the blue sky and upward-growing grass. The sky is seemingly far away and incomprehensibly blue. Grass is close to our feet and easy to touch. Yet in observing a meadow, the sky and green grass are undeniably next to each other. Black ink and blue "irodori" watercolor on 10x10 in. acid-free drawing paper.
