During the pandemic lockdown in Barcelona, I watched the birds from my apartment and wished I could be as free as them.
After regaining the freedom to be outside, I literally felt the joy of feeling like I had become the wing of a bird. It felt so unbelievably good to see the city again!!! I decided to paint the experience, and it finally dried after 3 months. Metal leaf, pigment and oil paint on cradled wood panel. 6x6x0.75 in / 15.2x15.2x2 cm
